It’s become a fall tradition to go apple picking at Old Stone Orchard in Little Compton, RI. I love the pastoral setting, the apple selection (they have my favorite Honeycrisps) and that it is right down the street from a favorite local breakfast spot, The Barn.  It is also the first farm I’d visited where you can find your own pumpkins as they grow right in the field. Old Stone Orchard was founded in 1973, and sells a variety of fruit and vegetables, flowers, and firewood. They also have a barnyard full of colorful chickens.  They were still selling a few different types of watermelons, including the heirloom variety, Moon and Stars.  Do you have a favorite spot to visit every fall?
