A few years ago, I flew into Norfolk, VA for a wedding. I had a little extra time before my flight home and decided to check out the Norfolk Botanical Garden. I only wish I had a whole day to explore this place – it is massive and amazing. The Norfolk Botanical Garden is on the National Register of Historic Places and consists of 155 acres and 7,000 species of plants. There are so many varied landscapes and gardens to walk through (I don’t think I even saw them all), a seasonal boat tour, and a garden cafe. They also host bike nights where you can ride their 12 miles of paved trails past their gorgeous collections, I’m so jealous I don’t live closer!
